The Friends of the
Mount Pleasant Public Library is a volunteer
group dedicated to assisting the Library to
increase its collection and to enhance other
services to library patrons. Through
individual memberships, donations, the
ongoing book sale, and other projects, the
Friends raise money for a variety of special
needs of the library. The Friends group
meets monthly from September to May. Friends
is a 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) nonprofit organization.
Friends serve as ambassadors for our library
and spread the word about various programs
and services offered by the library. Friends
need you to help spread the word and widen
support for the Mount Pleasant Public
